Please continue to pray as Dad continues to struggle. He is having problems with his kidneys and his digestive system as a whole. He will probably be hospitalized for at least another week. He appreciates your thoughts, but he is weak and is really not up for visitors. Our family is in good shape, and we do not need any meals at this time. I may ask for some assistance in the future with transportation for Mother to and from MUSC, but for the time being this appears to be covered. Please pray earnestly as Dad’s condition is not good. Thank you!
John 14:27 (New International Version, ©2010)
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Psalm 46:1-2, 7, 10-11 (NIV)
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear…
7 The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
11 The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Hebrews 12:1-2 (New International Version, ©2010)
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
I just prayed for you and your family. Please tell Barnie that we are thinking of us. He is the first person we met at the church and one of the reasons we returned. He has such a sweet spirit about him.
Brianna and I will be in prayer for Mr. Barnie today. Please tell him we love him so very much. And Mrs. Fay also. They just need to get this fixed and I know Mr. Barnie will be back with his church family.
Love Shelly

We know that Gods’ peace surrounds all of you and His strength keeps you going. We love your entire family and our hearts are sad that you all must go through this trial .
